I run CHALK PAINT Techniques Creative Sessions from my home in Framlingham, Suffolk using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, having been trained in various techniques by Annie Sloan herself. I have been a stockist of this wonderful paint for over four years and sold it in both Carley's Yard and Carley & Co.
During your Session you will learn some great Paint Techniques to use on your own projects at home.
I will provide the paint, brushes and materials needed during the Session, and, as well as INSPIRATION you will take home the sample boards you have worked on during your Creative Session.
Dates for my Sessions are fairly flexible so please get in touch if you and a friend or two would like to attend. Tailor made or solo workshops can also be arranged. Scroll down to the bottom of this page for the small print.
Techniques One 10 am - 1 pm £65
An ideal Creative Session to equip you with the basic skills needed to get started with your first up-cycling project and to learn about Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan. The main techniques covered are:

Texturing Chalk Paint
Cracking Chalk Paint
Techniques Two 10 am - 1 pm £75
For those who already have some experience of Chalk Paint ™ and furniture painting and want to achieve some more advanced finishes. The main techniques covered are:
Decoupage
Stencilling
Transfer Techniques
Gilding
BOOKING: Please ring me for a chat or email to book, places cannot be secured until payment is made.
TIMES: Starting at 10 am prompt and we should be finished by 1pm but may run a little over (up to half an hour).
WEAR: Not your best clothes! Comfortable and old enough for it not to be the end of the world if you get paint on them. I will provide aprons. (Cuffs and sleeves often get paint on them so be able to push them up).
REFRESHMENTS: Coffee, tea and biscuits will be provided. I can recommend places to go for lunch in Framlingham after your Workshop
ADDRESS: Once you have confirmed and paid for your booking I will send you details of the Creative Session location, which will be held at my house in Framlingham, where there is plenty of parking. The Session is held in relaxed surroundings in my art studio.
CANCELLATIONS: Please note that I do not refund Creative Session fees if cancellation is less than 14 days from the date of the event if I cannot fill your place with another person. If I have to cancel the Session I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you future dates otherwise you will be refunded.

I usually have a maximum of two people on each Decorative Paint Session. If you are interested in solo/tailor made Sessions please let me know.
