‘Copper’ Oyster Shell: from Suffolk coast.

Handpainted to emulated old, weathered copper, with various early tones and flecks of turquoise. This is one of my favourites. 6” x 4” I paint these shells as mini canvases, they are not decoupaged with a napkin! My husband is a Fish Monger :-) Each one takes hours of attention and love and is individual, I work on them as I would a small canvas.

These are painted shells are ornanaments/sculptures and should not be in contact with water or sharp objects. Please note that these shells can be naturally sharp and uneven and have natural flaws.
