OYSTER SHELL XL from Suffolk Coast, UK

Handpainted with gold against the natural white of the shell

This is an extra large Oyster Shell at 5” long x 4.” wide. I paint these shells as mini canvases, they are not decoupaged with a napkin! My husband is a Fish Monger :-) Each one takes hours of attention and love and is individual, I work on them as I would a small canvas.

These are painted shells are ornnaments/sculptures and should not be in contact with water or sharp objects. Please note that these shells can be naturally sharp and uneven and have natural flaws
